Design Matters…….for the space in which life takes place.

Design Matters is a full-service interior design firm that services the Kansas City Metro area and beyond in both residential and commercial interiors. Design Matters mission is to improve the functionality of people's lives by providing clients with improved spaces in which they live, work and play.

I value on the impact that interior design has on the human experience; meaning that the environments we inhabit greatly affect how we feel, engage, our mood and sense of well-being. Every decision Design Matters makes, in one way or another, affects life safety and quality of life.

Is interior design - science or an art? I say it is an 'art' in knowing the rules well enough to know when to break them. With over 25 years of Interior Design experience and expertise in both residential and commercial environments, I pride myself in providing creative design solutions that meet or exceed your expectations.

Let's take some time together to discuss how we can make that happen.
